Notice on Leave of Absence and Re-enrollment Applications for Graduate Students – Fall Semester 2025

 

◆ Note: (Article 42 of the University Regulations) Maximum Duration of Leave of Absence by Graduate Degree Program

                - Master’s Program: Up to 4 semesters

                - Doctoral Program: Up to 4 semesters

                - Integrated Master’s and Doctoral Program: Up to 6 semesters

 

◆ Application Period for Leave of Absence and Re-enrollment for the Fall Semester 2025

Steps to Access the Leave of Absence and Re-enrollment Application System

Application Period for Leave of Absence and Re-enrollment

Re-enrollment (복학)

- Log in to the SUIS →(Update Contact Information) → Academic Affairs → School Register → School Registration Status → Request for Re-enrollment(Graduate) → Apply

(You must update your address (road name format) and mobile phone number before proceeding to the next step.)

○ July 28 (Mon), 9:00 AM – September 19 (Fri), 6:00 PM (No additional application period will be provided)

Please refer to the upcoming separate notice on the Graduate School website for course registration details.

(You must complete your re-enrollment application before you can register for courses.)

- Course Registration Period: August 11 (Mon), 2:00 PM – August 13 (Wed), 6:00 PM

Leave of Absence (휴학)
- Log in to the SUIS → (Update Contact Information) → Academic Affairs → School Register → School Registration Status → Request for Leave of Absence(Graduate) → Apply

○ August 27 (Wed), 9:00 AM – September 19 (Fri), 6:00 PM (No additional application period will be provided)

※ Scholarship recipients must pay their tuition before applying for a leave of absence.

※ Re-enrollment is approved on the day following tuition payment after the re-enrollment application is submitted. At this point, the student’s status will be officially changed to “enrolled students.”

- Students who paid tuition before taking a leave of absence must log in to the SUIS and complete the registration process by checking their tuition bill and clicking the “Pay” button (for full tuition waiver recipients). Re-enrollment will only be approved after this step is completed.

※ Tuition Payment Period: August 27 (Wed) – August 29 (Fri), 2025 (Please refer to the upcoming separate notice on tuition payment.)
