제50회 International Coffee Hour를 빛내주신 참가자 여러분께 진심으로 감사드립니다.

지난 2022. 11. 10.(목)에 개최된 제50회 International Coffee Hour는 코로나로 인해 약 3년만에 개최된 행사였습니다. 이번 행사에서는 ‘한국의 길거리 음식과 전통놀이 체험’이라는 주제로 다양한 국적의 친구들과 떡볶이, 김밥, 핫도그 등의 한국 길거리 음식을 나누어 먹고 빙고게임을 하며 서로의 경험을 교류하였습니다. 또한, 전통놀이 중 하나인 제기차기 놀이를 체험해보는 시간도 가졌습니다.

이어진 제기차기 경연대회에서는 14명의 학생들이 참가했고 이 중 38개를 성공한 경영학과 3학년 Dzhumashev Amantur(러시아) 학생이 1위를 차지했고 기계·자동차공학과 3학년 Ankaev Akbar(우즈베키스탄) 학생이 36개, 기계·자동차공학과 3학년 Sokidjonov Islombek(우즈베키스탄) 학생이 29개를 기록하며 뒤를 이었습니다.

제50회 International Coffee Hour를 통해 내·외국인 학생들이 한국의 음식과 문화를 체험하고, 서로를 알아가는 의미 있는 시간을 보내셨기를 바랍니다.

내년에도 진행 예정인 International Coffee Hour에 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드립니다.

Thank you for your attendance and participation in the 50^th International Coffee Hour.

With the theme of “Korean Street Food and Traditional Game”, participants tried Korean street food, such as 닭강정 (Sweet & Sour Chicken), 김밥 (Kimbap), 떡볶이 (Ttockbokki), 순대 (Sundae), 튀김 (Fries), 꽈배기 (Twisted doughnut), 핫도그 (Corndog), and various Korean snacks.

Participants also played Mingle Game, in which they asked about their experiences with each other. By the end of the Mingle Game, all the participants were able to know each other better and build friendships beyond cultural and language differences.

The highlight of this event was 제기차기 (Jegichagi) competition, where contestants demonstrated how many times they could kick the Jegi. The highest record was by Dzhumashev Amantur, from Russia, with 38 kicks, followed by Ankaev Akbar from Uzbekistan with 36 kicks, and Sokidjonov Islombek from Uzbekistan with 29 kicks.
